Fourteen kayak participants from Brunei Darussalam left for the neighbouring country on 27th June morning, for the twenty-one kilometre Brumalpura Kayak Programme. The programme starts on 28th June, from the Awat-Awat Lawas Waterfront, Sarawak to the Serasa Water Sports Complex.
The flag-off and handover ceremony was officiated by Yang Berhormat Haji Awang Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, Member of the Legislative Council at the Bukit Patoi Temburong Recreational Park Car Park area. The Brumalpura Kayak Programme is jointly organised by the Pecinta Kayak Brunei and Otai-Otai Kayak Brunei.
